The challenge
A lot of videos are recorded in rooms with less-than-ideal acoustics, so noise reduction is a real help for clean, understandable audio. The downside is that turning it up also strips away the natural everyday sounds you'd normally expect — the soft clink of a cup being set down, the small movements happening in the room. What's left can feel a little flat and "talking-head only", as if the space around the speaker has gone quiet.
Our approach
Let's explore an optional AI sound design layer that adds subtle, natural-sounding ambience and accentuates individual on-screen movements — like someone setting down a cup — so the room quietly tells part of the story again. It would be something you switch on when you want it, working alongside the existing noise reduction rather than replacing it, so your videos feel richer without sounding artificial.
Expected impact
Bring back the natural room feel that strong noise reduction removes
Videos feel more immersive and less like a plain voice recording
Fully optional and on-demand, so you stay in control of the final sound
